When art is created with the assistance of artificial intelligence, can we really call it “art”? That’s one of the questions posed by the Living Paintings show from artist Refik Anadol, on display at the Jeffery Deitch gallery in Los Angeles. “I always heard this concern,” Anadol told the AP. “I think there’s a very common problem for anyone pushing the boundaries of imagination, anyone pushing for breakthroughs and pioneership with these new tools.”
