Discover Yoko Ono
The Tate Modern is currently hosting a major retrospective of Yoko Ono. As a peace activist and a member of the Fluxus group, she created conceptual and poetic artworks as well as iconic performances. Her husband, John Lennon described her as "the most famous unknown artist" in the world. To help you learn more about this Japanese artist and performance art, we have prepared a special playlist for you, enjoy !
Just under the wire, we end Women’s History Month with a peek beneath Yoko Ono’s art and reputation – and how we need to reconsider both.
