Autumn in Paris is all about photography! 📷
There are several events that honour photography this autumn in Paris, such as the Paris Photo fair at the Palais Éphémère, an exhibition of photographs by collector Martin Karmitz at the Centre Pompidou, the Photo Days festival, a retrospective of the pioneering photographer Julia Margaret Cameron at the Jeu de Paume, and Sophie Calle taking over the Musée Picasso. The schedule may seem overwhelming, but our playlist is here to guide you. We have curated a selection of podcasts and videos that will take you on a captivating and emotional journey into the world of photographers, both historical and contemporary.

In this film, members of the QTIPOC community (Queer, Trans, and Intersex People Of Colour) reflect on their experience of ‘home’ and ‘love’. Filmed in an exhibition of Zanele Muholi’s art at Tate Modern prior to lockdown, participants responded to Muholi’s work and debated whether Tate can be a home for queer people of colour.

This forms part of our programme, From a Place of Love, produced in partnership by Tate Exchange and UK Black Pride. Inspired by the art of Zanele Muholi, it brings together Tate Exchange’s exploration of love with UK Black Pride’s theme of home.
