Marjane Satrapi (born in Iran, lives and works in Paris) has directed four features films, including the animated Persepolis(2007), adapted from her graphic novels, and, most recently, Radioactive (2020). Her drawings and paintings have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums in Europe and the United States. She has lectured extensively at American universities.
